Jo and Rick's Third Album

As we move into 2025, Jo and Rick are finishing off writing, shaping and recording songs for their third album ‘Being Human’. This collection is scheduled for release on 1 st May but, in the meantime, they will be releasing four singles from the album to BBC Introducing, Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, You tube and other streaming platforms on a monthly basis followed by an album launch gig in May.

First off, will be ‘I Can Invisible Myself’, a piece that started life as one of Jo’s poems off her wordpress site called ‘Invisible’. It's unusual in that Jo and Rick have swapped musical roles with Jo conceiving the rhythm on Rick’s partly smashed up gato tongue drum, whilst Rick plays zither. It’s a new sound which you can hear in January.
February will see an alternative folky song called ‘Awenydd’ released with Jo back on guitar and Rick on djembe.
In March comes ‘Standing Stone’ with a jazzy bossa nova swing with friend Niall Ross on saxophone.
April will bring ‘Rain’ - an ethereal, trancey song where Jo and Rick both play the handpan.
